The Turbo 5 is the first smartphone globally to debut the Dimensity 8500-Ultra SoC. It comes equipped with LPDDR5 Ultra RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and the same vapor chamber cooling system used in the Max model, ensuring stable performance under heavy workloads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the front, the Turbo 5 sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display\u2014slightly smaller than the Max variant. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, 3,500 nits peak brightness, and is a 12-bit display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powering the device is a 7,560mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging, matching the charging speeds of the Turbo 5 Max.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For photography, the phone includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front houses a 20MP selfie shooter. The device runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and features a metal frame with a glass back, mirroring the Max model\u2019s design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional features include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC. The handset measures 8.18mm thick and weighs 204g.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Redmi Turbo 5 is available in Auspicious Cloud White, Light Sea Green, and Shadow Black. It is already listed for purchase on Xiaomi\u2019s official China online store. Pricing starts at CNY 1,999 ($290) for the 12GB\/256GB configuration.
