The update also introduces a built-in tool that makes switching from iOS to Android far easier. It allows users to transfer photos, messages, notes, apps, passwords, phone numbers, and more without relying on third-party software. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EU has long pushed Apple and Google to support seamless cross-platform migration, and this feature is a direct result of those efforts. Both companies have opted to roll it out globally rather than restrict it to the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iOS 26.3 additionally adds a setting to limit carrier-based location tracking for devices using Apple\u2019s C1 or C1X modems.
