Vintage digital camcorders have a unique charm that modern smartphones simply cannot replace. The colour, the grain, and even the slightly clunky autofocus give your videos a distinct character. However, after years in storage, an old TCL camcorder can become sluggish, unstable, or stop working altogether.

Start with the battery

When bringing the camera inside from the cold, let it adjust to room temperature before switching it on. This simple habit lowers the risk of condensation damage.
