Samsung has quietly introduced the Galaxy A07, a successor to last year’s A06 that brings several significant improvements aimed at extending device longevity.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, a 6nm chipset with Cortex-A76 CPU cores and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU—replacing the older 12nm G85 with A55 cores and Mali-G52 graphics. It ships with Android 15 and One UI 7, and Samsung has committed to six OS upgrades, far surpassing the two promised for the A06. The device also carries an IP54 rating for basic water resistance.

The 6.7-inch LCD now supports a 90Hz refresh rate, though resolution remains 720p+. The display has a notch housing an 8MP f/2.0 front camera. On the back, the phone features a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor capable of 1080p video recording at 30fps, alongside a 2MP depth sensor.
Other features include dual-SIM 4G support, a dedicated microSD slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C 2.0 port. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 25W charging. The handset measures 167.4 x 77.4 x 7.6 mm and weighs 184g.
The Galaxy A07 was first announced in Indonesia, with configurations ranging from 4/64GB to 8/256GB.
