Shokz has introduced the OpenFit 2 Plus (stylized as OpenFit 2+), a follow-up to the OpenFit 2 announced earlier this year. The new model retains much of the original design but adds upgraded features at a higher price point.
The OpenFit 2 Plus share the same two-tone design, customizable physical button, touch controls, and IP55 rating as the standard model. They are also identical in weight. Color options differ, however, with the Plus version available in Black, Gray, and a special Hyrox edition, compared to Beige and Black for the standard version.

Key upgrades include support for Dolby Audio. The earbuds also feature Shokz’s DirectPitch 2.0 technology, which enhances audio conduction while reducing sound leakage. Additional features such as customizable EQ, four preset EQ modes, and DualBoost technology—using separate drivers for low and high frequencies—remain present.
Each earbud carries two microphones with noise cancellation and AI-powered beamforming to minimize background noise during calls. Battery life is unchanged at 11 hours on a single charge, with a total of 48 hours when paired with the charging case. The case now supports both USB-C wired charging and wireless charging. Fast charging provides two hours of playback from a 10-minute charge.

Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.4, with support for Multipoint and Find My Earbuds. A companion app enables firmware updates, EQ customization, and battery monitoring.
