After debuting in China in July and later rolling out to Malaysia, Romania, and Bulgaria, the Honor Magic V5 is preparing for a wider international release. Honor has scheduled a launch event in London on August 28, where it will introduce the foldable alongside other products, including the MagicBook Pro 14 (2025), Magic Pad 3, and Earbuds Open.
The Magic V5 stands out for its slim design, measuring just 4.2mm when unfolded and weighing approximately 222g. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with configurations offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
The foldable features a 7.95-inch flexible OLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Its outer 6.43-inch OLED display matches the same specifications.
On the rear, the device houses a triple-camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide unit, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. Both the inner and outer displays include 20MP selfie cameras. Powering the phone is a 5,820mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Pricing details for Europe and the UK will be announced at the August 28 event.
