DJI has announced the Osmo Mobile 8, a new smartphone gimbal that introduces several upgrades, including direct phone connectivity and an enhanced tracking module. The device is currently available for purchase in China.
The Osmo Mobile 8 retains DJI’s 3-axis stabilization system but now supports 360-degree unlimited horizontal rotation, enabling smooth panoramic photo and video capture while tracking subjects. It also includes a built-in extension rod, allowing users to tilt the gimbal forward for low-angle shots.
