Huawei held a product launch event in Dubai where it introduced the Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition and the MatePad 11.5 S 2025.
Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition
The Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition is an updated version of the original Watch Ultimate 2, distinguished by new materials. It features a rare-earth purple ceramic bezel combined with 18-carat gold accents, a zirconium-based liquid metal case, and a purple-gold titanium alloy strap.
Key specifications include a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display, Huawei’s Kirin W80 chipset, and an 867mAh battery rated for up to 11 days of use. The watch maintains the 150m water resistance (20 ATM) of its predecessor and supports underwater sonar-based communication. It also includes Huawei’s TruSense health system and an X-Tap sensor that provides rapid health measurements across 11 metrics, including ECG.
The device runs HarmonyOS 5.1 and supports eSIM functionality, dual-band GPS, on-device calling, and music playback. The Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition is priced at €3,300/£3,000 and will be available starting January 15.

Huawei MatePad 11.5 S 2025
Originally launched in China in August, the MatePad 11.5 S 2025 features an 11.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2,800 × 1,840 and a 144Hz refresh rate. It supports Huawei’s M-Pencil Pro stylus and includes quad speakers.
Huawei has not disclosed details about the chipset. The tablet comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It includes a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and an 8,800mAh battery with support for 40W charging.
The MatePad 11.5 S is available in Field Green, Feather Sand Purple, Frost Silver, and Deep Space Gray. Pricing is set at €480/£350, with availability beginning January 15.
