Samsung has unveiled the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV at CES 2026. Codenamed R95H, the display supports 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut, which Samsung describes as the widest color range currently available on a consumer television.
The R95H is built on Samsung’s Micro RGB display system, where individual red, green, and blue LEDs produce color directly instead of using white backlighting and color filters. This design enables more precise control over brightness and color across the entire 130-inch panel. Samsung notes that the display has received VDE certification for color accuracy, underscoring its focus on precise color reproduction.

Image processing is powered by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, working in tandem with Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro. Together, these systems manage contrast, brightness, and color mapping in real time, using AI to enhance shadow detail, preserve highlights, and maintain consistent colors under varying lighting conditions. The TV also supports HDR10+ Advanced for scene-by-scene HDR optimization.
To prevent the massive screen from feeling overwhelming, Samsung has adopted a Timeless Frame design inspired by its gallery-style TVs. The frame is intended to make the display resemble a large window rather than a traditional television. Speakers are built directly into the frame, with audio tuned to match the scale of the screen so sound aligns more naturally with on-screen action.
The panel also features Samsung’s glare-free, low-reflectivity coating, designed to reduce reflections and maintain contrast in bright environments. This helps preserve color depth and visibility even under strong ambient lighting, a common challenge for ultra-large displays.
On the software side, the TV runs Samsung’s updated Vision AI Companion, offering conversational voice search, personalized content recommendations, and features such as AI Football Mode Pro, Live Translate, and Generative Wallpaper. It also supports integrations with services like Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity. Audio capabilities include support for Eclipsa Audio, aimed at delivering a more immersive sound experience suited to the TV’s size.

Samsung will showcase the 130-inch Micro RGB TV at its CES 2026 exhibition space in Las Vegas. Pricing and availability for the R95H have not yet been announced.
